AmeriCorps Week (March 12-18, 2023) is a great time to celebrate your Fellows and their commitment to serving communities.

Please note the 2022-23 Mid-Year Retreat will take place during normal working hours March 13-17th. To allow Fellows time to focus on program activities, please schedule any celebratory events after working hours or during weeks surrounding AmeriCorps Week.

Here are some ideas to recognize your CivicSpark Fellow(s):

  • Hold a celebratory staff lunch

  • Highlight them on social media and/or in newsletters

  • Organize a group greeting card

  • Bring AmeriCorps to the attention of local elected officials through a submitting resolution to recognize March 12-18 as National AmeriCorps Week. Feel free to use the following examples and templates:
