Timely and thorough reporting helps CivicSpark run smoothly.

Each report we ask Fellows to complete plays an important role in keeping CivicSpark functioning appropriately.

At a basic level, Timesheets and Expense Reports are necessary to make sure you get paid and reimbursed on time. If you’re late on these reports, you may experience delays in getting paid AND the people who are responsible for cutting checks are negatively impacted.

Other reports help document your completion of key program milestones: Gap Assessments, Professional Development Plans, and Volunteer Engagement Logs. CivicSpark’s ability to evaluate broad impacts on community resilience (and complete for funding based on program performance) is negatively impacted if these reports are late or incomplete.

Finally, we’ve developed several forms to help you reflect on your service, communicate challenges, and build strong relationships with your supervisors (e.g., Progress Report, Shared Expectations, and General Feedback). What you put into these reports is what you get out of them. Committing time to thoughtfully reflect on your experience will help you build self-awareness and become a better leader.
